The research questions are: will an individual be more likely to engage in self-disclosure online with a friend or with a romantic partner, and does self-presentation of online behaviors differ based on relationship type?


Based on these research questions, we were able to create two hypotheses. The first hypothesis is that individuals engaging with friends will show higher levels of self-disclosure online than individuals engaging with online dating partners.
